Ye Id like to hear if the "cheat corner" is still achieveable

in 7.0.2 in my 1st season all my defenders toghther scored about 15-20 with this

as long as the corner taker is good and they have good jumping and heading it works

also if you have someone attack from deep who has good off the ball attributes

FuSS, Did you ever get this routine working and if so how did you achieve it, if its possible I'm sure many people would definitely use it!

I'm trying various combernations to try and get the old-style corner trick to work.

It used to work in 06 by setting all the players except 1 to stand on the far post - thus clearing the box....then the corner was punted to one lurker who had a free shot from just outside the area!

in 07 if u give more than 2 players the same instruction in set-peices they simply revert to there default positions...so it's impossible to have them all stand on far post....

BUT is it possible to clear the box some other way? This is what im currently toying with.

I reckon something like -

DR - default (sets him backish and out wide)
DL - default (sets him backish and out wide)
DC - back
DC - back
ML - offer short option
MR - offer short option
MC - ? stand on far post may get them out of way enough?
MC - ? stand on far post may get them out of way enough?
FC - lurk
FC - lurk

I use something like this, and it works well enough.

DR: Stay back
DL: Stay back
DC: Near Post Flick On
DC: Challenge GK
MR: Forward
ML: Forward
MC:Stand on far post
MC: Outside area
FC: Short option
FC: Can't remember

That's assuming your DCs are good headers and one can head the ball while one can challenge the GK in the air.

some success, but cant seem to consistantly clear the box of payers.

The near-post flickon trick seems the most consistant still.
