What happens if I change my tatics in the middle of the season? My friend said that it will decrease my "tactical consistency" stats and I dont want that to happen

it will ... but just a little ... try to not make dramatic changes ... like from:

GK
RB CD CD RB
DM DM DM
CM CM
ST

to:

GK
CD CD CD
RM CM CM LM
AM
ST ST

dramatic changes will decrease your tactical consistency ... it's also possible that your players will need some time to acomodate to your new tactic ...
