There has been alot of discussion on this, but i'm still not sure, so I would appreicate it if someone would clarify the situation:
The maximum number of coaches I've ever been able to employ at one time (playing as Man Utd) is 1 Assistant and 12 coaches (ince 3 Youth only)
A quick look over at chelsea (who have a lower in-game reputation - and irl imo) shows loads of coaches, scouts and physios, and at one point 2 Assistants
How come I can never replicate this? My board wont let me employ anymore, even if I try adding only 1 more per season. The only way I can add more is if i persuade players to become coaches when they retire.
Is there a set limit as to how many backroom staff a club can employ (which would seem to defy the "Chelsea Rule"? If there is, which i suspect, is there a way to change said limit?
I've tried editing Chairman attributes and club rep before, but I cant seem to do anything about it, and I'd like to know if its possible
I'm not denying that 12 seems about right, I was more concerned with Scouts i suppose, having lots of scouts would allow you to cover lots of countries at the same time, for example a scouting mission to south america takes ages, so having lots of scouts to cover 1 or 2 countries each would speed up the process. Ditto for the rest of the world too
