I dunno if its the right forum, so forgive me if its not.

whats the point to buy / sell player in installments (monthly payments) ?

if you try to buy a player, in installments, and you dont have enough money at that moment, its impossible to pay.. ?

does someone can explain me whats the point in installments?

THANKS !

I feel a little ashamed to say, but I never got the Monthly Installments bit. Never used it, so I'm curious as to the best way of using it.

My understanding of it (and I may well be wrong), is that when you buy on installments, the full amount of money for that player does not immediately come out of your transfer budget.
A large portion does, while the rest is taken over the period you specified.
That's what I think anyway

If you bid say 10M for a player over 24 Months, then £5M will be taken out of your transfer budget for that year....and £5M the next....

If you bid 10M for a player over 12 Months....10M will come out of your budget for that year.

I dunno but for me it works better. when u offer a team a monthly payments, there is higher potencial the team would accept ur deal

it has more use in real life where your cash in the bank actually matters

paying with monthly installments is better for your liquidity. say you have £5 million, a transfer buget of the same and buy a player for £5 million = 0. buying the player on installments will give you time to build up your liquidity so you don't have to sit there with debts

I do monthly installments during the summer window if I think I'm going to need the transfer funds later. That way I have extra money to play with in January in case of injury problems.

Other than that the only time I use it is when I get offered a counter deal that involves installments and I just accept instead of countering for the full amount upfront.
