I'm playing as Stoke City and have around 4 million to spend, I want to increase my defence, all these good young players people keep posting are all strikers and attack midfielders, are there any good defensive players? Defenders and Defensive midfield.

You could try Michael Jakobsen of AaB.. He can turn out as a real good player. You might have to spend must of your budget to land him, though..

Simon Kjær of FC Midtjylland (18y/o) can be yours for around £200K - £300K.. He has some potential..

Jack Hobbs of Liverpool, Peter Clarke from Southend and Matthew Bates from Middlesbrough are all good young defenders who won't cost much.

They should also be willing to sign for most Championship or League 1 clubs. They will all develop into decent players, but my personal recommendation is Hobbs.
