With Norwich City, and I'm facing West Brom, but I have a pretty big problem, which can't be fixed, but is very annoying.
Basically, 3 members of my first XI (Grosicki, Odejai-Ofoe, Torje) are travelling back from international duty with the U21's, and are unavailable to play in the final.
Added to the fact that I have 2 players suspended (Murray, Bardsley), I only have one first-choice defender now! Torje is my first-choice RM, with Grosiki as his back-up, and I'm now having to use my 3rd choice RM for the most important game of the season.
Anyway, I've already lost twice to West Brom this season (with a full-strength side), so I'm not sure how to approach this game?
Normally I play:
GK - Marshall
DL - Murray (suspended)
DR - Simpson
DC - Bardsley (suspended)
DC - Odejai-Ofoe (unavailable)
ML - Huckerby
MR - Torje (unavailable)
MC - Brellier
AMC - Eagles
S - Nish
S - Dlamini
I've played pretty much this team all season (although Prso and Dlamini came in January), and have stuck with the formation all season regardless of who plays.
However, I'm thinking of playing just one striker (probably Nish or Prso), and adding another central midfielder to the mix.
Any other suggestions? I could play two DM's, and one AM, as well as one striker, but I'm not sure what to do?
Another thought was to just go for it and play 3 up-front (striker replacing a CB).
So, any ideas, as I'm pretty stuck ahead of this big match.
Any advice/help would be very much appreciated!
P.S. If I lose, I'll probably re-sign and join another club, as quite a few are interested in me according to the press! :p
