First season as Manure, first game against Braga, Intertoto, 8-0, get your point about easiness. Go through season with only two defeats in all competitions, to Arsenal in the League Cup QF 2-1, and 2-0 to Ipswich in the FA Cup 4th round.
End season on 100 points, 17 clear of the Arsenal. Lose a few of the old-timers and bring in a few youth players.

Highlight of the season, beating Arsenal 4-1 away in the Waffa Semi first leg.

Tempted to move to new team into the Conference Regionals, but Solihull doesn’t capture my fancy. Will wait another year, ensure Uniteds dominance and have a go at the Champions League, then reassess my position. Fingers crossed for the rise of say AFC Wimbledon or maybe Great Wakering Rovers (I can dream )

As side-notes, Portsmouth and Leek are Relegated, Braintree survive a 3rd season in League 2 in a respectable 10th, and back in South Africa my Dangerous ******* squad drops out of the football league having sold or released every player present during my time at the club.

As for my favourite club of Southend, relegated from League 1 on the last day of the season


Hopefully my ex-teams will do better next season (they couldn't do much worse).

Won everything possible, lost to Norwich 3 times in one season...only defeats.

Looking to jump ship for Matlock in the close season, just made the Engilsh hall of fame.

As a sidenote my former Braintree side made it through the league 2 playoffs to make it 4 promotions in 10 years for the small Essex club.

Having dug this back up, my Ogame addiction having worn off enough *glares at OTF*, i'm gonna get this thread going again.

Season 2013/2014

Taken control of Matlock (Then)...

Struggling at bottom till mid-season when I bring in several players i'd developed at past clubs on loan. End result, steadily climbing up the table when I went for my break.

Now...

Having just taken control again of the team, I find my one goalkeeper out injured, and my team lacking a good finisher, yet sitting top 3 and looking solid for the playoffs, but with Blyth Spartans 8 points ahead and looking strong for the title with 12 games to.
A period of shaky form by the team without our regular keeper sees us barely keep up with Blyth, and with 8 games to were 10 points behind the leaders. Cue Blyth hitting an abysmal run of form which sees us draw to within 1 point of them and ahead of Morecombe, and cue a 1st vs 2nd head-to-head at Blyth.
Currently 5-0 up with 12mins to go, hello top of the table

Hmm....the lawyer might be more reliable than my attack...

End the season with a loss to 2nd bottom Burscough(which sees them relegated ), and a draw to mid table Gravesend. Thankfully Blyth and Morecombe go head-to-head in the final game of the season and it ends 0-0, we go up on goal difference, despite only scoring 40 goals all season.
