Default FM2006 Keeping me on my LLM toes

Been playing the new version for a week now and have to say I'm finding it a lot more challenging than 2005. In 2005 I always used to rotate 3 or 4 different tactics depending on the opposition and propelled Farnborough from the Conf to the Championship without much hassle. I am now in my 3rd season with Farnborough on FM2006 and am still trying to get out of the Conf South after finishing 9th and 7th. The opposition seems to adjust thier play depending your tactics/formation mid match so be prepared do the same and also mould your tactics around your players or face mid table obscurity.

To be honest this has taken my enjoyment of the game to a different level and those victories now taste so much sweeter knowing that you've out-foxed the other team.

The 1-4-5 formation? Didn't they used to play that in 1895? I prefer the 7-7-7 formation. So long as the ref get's his brown envelope at the end of the game it works for me everytime!!

The one defender also has an arrow pointing to the midfield, offside trap needs tweaking though I have tested the 2-4-4 but didn't seem to score as many goals

I see your problem, the one defender should be starting from the left sided sweeper position.

I always just put all my men on the wings and a striker in the goal.

The left sided sweeper tactic isn't as effective in FM06 as it used to be. No chance to win every game 10-0 anymore.

I find it much more enjoyable. Had a nice season with Cefn Druids in the Welsh Prem. Got them to 7th (Expected to be relagated).

Slow start, but getting used to fiddeling with tactics mid game work a treat as the season went on, managed to string a few wins near the end o//

To Tupoar:
Why do you even bother to post here? It is more than obvious you didn't read the rules. It is also obvious you can't read between the lines.
That makes you boring and annoying at the same time. Yes, 1000000 before you have tried, 1000000 before you got flamed. Now go and jerk off or something.
