Default daft defenders...

have recently started with carlisle in div 2. i know they aren't LLM, but figured people in this forum would have more experience with rubbish defenders. is it just me, or do defenders quite often when near the corner flag try and 'clear' the ball by punting it into their own penalty area!
i dont watch any football except premiership footy on tv, but surely even div 2 players dont do stupid things like that - too often. its really bugging me.

It might be your tactic, where is your default setting for their passing. That's all I will say as I don't want to talk tactics.

Calmly explain to them that you are grateful they know where the goal is, but it's the one on the other side of the pitch we're gonna score in.

Well, there's a certain Poofland defender who's starting to be known by his own goals in Madrid
