Big Geordie is on a distinguished road
Default My first bash as an LLM, with Bradford PA

Normally, I've started off at the bottom before and worked my way up before - but this time, I thought I'd have a bash - LLM style.

The team I chose is Bradford Park Avenue, who play in the English Conference (North). Upon my first look at the side, I could see that there is going to be a lot of work to do. The board said I was to bravely battle against relegation, and with no cash in the bank, it seemed that I was going to have a struggle on my hands. Hopefully the years of playing CM/FM will stand me in good stead.

I'll keep on reporting how I'm doing at the end of each season.

Cheers, lads. I'm off work for a few weeks (on the sick), so I'm gonna have plenty opportunity for game time.

It's a great challenge. I'm into my 13th day of game time with BPA and still loving it. I eventually got promoted but it's a struggle all the way, especially with money. I've had to really hone my tactics to cope with the players' limitations since only ones with zero reputation will come. I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.

Well- it looks like I'm going to get a top half finish, this season (04/05) if results continue. It is a real struggle yes, having no dosh. But I am determined !

Well, just finished my first season with Bradford PA. Managed to pilot them to a safe 8th in the English Conf (North) - never really threatened to make the playoffs, but I am hopeful for next season.

I made the 4th qualifying round of the FA Cup, and also the 4rd round of the FA Trophy.

Still got no dosh - have got some feelers out to sign some players in the summer. I'm hopeful for making a promotion push next season.
