Just finished season 2008/2009. Finished 9th in League 2. Not bad. Was in with a shout of making the playoffs, but lost our last two games to finish a point outside. Still though, I'm happy enough.

Made the 4th round of the FA Cup, which included a 2-0 win at Championship side, Brentford. Lost to fellow Championship club, Coventry. Got knocked out of the first round of the League Cup.

Overall, I have a fairly young squad, which seems to be getting better. Brought in a young striker for £18K who has finished with 21 league goals in his first campaign.

Managerial approaches that I have turned down this season include Leicster, Luton and Raith Rovers.

Here's to a promotion push, next season.

You're doing very well there BG. I'm nto my 2007/08 season in League Two and it's proving a bit of a reality check. My flawless 'park the bus' tactics that served me so well in non-league football has been rumbled by the leagur teams where forwards can now outpace my back line and my offensive players are too slow to compete. Really is what the board and fans expect this time. Oh well, at least my 'handle pressure' stat might finally increase. Still lovin' it too tho'

It is difficult, Andy. The size of the club means wages to attract players aren't great - think the maximum I can pay out at the mo is £1K a week. The tactics that I use vary slightly when I'm at home, and away and the seem to work well for me. May I add that I'm not using any super-rip-off tactic - not interested in doing that. I have taken to selling a couple of my better players as their contracts were running out, and I decided to cash in, rather than lose them for nothing.

BPA is a real challenge - perhaps the biggest yet that I have faced - but I am very much enjoying it.

Nearly mid-way through season 2009/10. Have got BPA into a playoff position. Have recently turned down 2 much higher profile jobs - Derby and Burnley came in for me, but I turned them down. It is getting harder to resist though.

Yup - Burnley are an old favourite of mine from Cm days. I think I'll see how this season pans out, before deciding whether I've had enough of BPA. If I do go, I'll leave them in a good position, and looking healthy financially.

Have finished season 2009/2010, with a defeat in the League 2 Play Off Final, to Wycombe - 4-2 on pens (1-1 AET). The ref saw fit to book plenty players, and also send two of my lads off after 62 mins. Thought we did well to take it to pens. In the league, I finished 6th, which is quite amazing considering I lost 3 strikers (including my star striker) to serious long term injuries. Had to play my right winger as my FC - but fortunately, he weighed in with some important goals, to help secure a play off place.

My squad is very small, and I'm £2K per week over my wage budget. Got around £350K in the bank, with £100K to spend on transfers - at the mo, though I'm sure the board will more than half that in the summer.

As for cup competitions, got knocked out of the League and FA Cups in Round 1. Made it through to the semis for the LDV.

Turned down another job offer - this time from Dundee. Am wondering if I have taken BPA as far as I can ?
