Wow what a career, you have truly inspired me to stay with the same game instead of starting again after every 5 years or so.

No tactics in here alan. Read the header and so forth. This isn't just managing a lower league team, it's LLM. There can be a huge difference there.

I think if you go 'career' for a game, it does make it more enjoyable. This is the longest running game I've ever had in all my years playing CM/FM. Only thing is, this game will probably be sidelined once I get FM2006 which on it's way to me from Play as we speak...

That's my dilemma, Geordie...

FM06 is set to arrive today and I'm almost sad that I'm getting it. Almost.

Is there a heaven for career threads? Do they go someplace to die?

I guess I'm lucky my computer went pop and needed a rebuild then. My 9 season Swedish fm2005 game went with it but I've now put fm2006 on started with Lancaster. No need to sideline anything.
Shame though - I'd jsut got to the top division in Sweden

Nice one. For me, starting off at the bottom of the pile and working your way up is the best (and probably only) way to play FM.

Great story, BG. I read it for the first time and was really enjoyed. I also choose lower league clubs in CM/FM. This time i'm going to play with Accrington Stanley.
