Sweden. Three up from seventy odd teams and god knows how many get relegated.

Valid.
Sweden second division:
- 12 teams in 6 groups
- 1 promotion playoff spot in every group
- 1 relegation playoff spots in every group
- 2 relegationspots in every group.
So let's see. 72 teams, 3 promotion spots, 12 relegation spots + 6 relegation playoff spots.
I would say Russian 2nd Division is a piece of pish. </BLOCKQUOTE>
This will all change next year in Sweden when the pyramid will look this:
1st tier: 1 league - 14 teams - 1 relegation playoff, 2 relegated
2nd tier: 1 league - 16 teams - 2 promoted, 1 promotion playoff, 3 relegated
3rd tier: 2 leagues - 12 teams in each - 1st promoted, 2nd promotion playoff and I assume bottom three relegated
4th tier: 6 leagues - 12 teams in each, top team promoted I guess
