I'll keep this brief - Win98se has just gone arse over taking all my files on that partition with it, including my long career game with FM2005.

I'm now thinking I might take a plunge with FM2006 patched up to 6.0.1.

Would you recommend 2006 over 2005, and are there any issues with LLM after patching?

I'm playing in the bottom leagues of Italy. Not finding any problems really, only that ive sold some players for daft money. IE worth 16k but been offered 300k!

Cant say no to that, keeps me out the red!

Unfortunately, we are people who do not play FM 2006 24 hours a day, so none of us has already tried a proper LLM game that lasts maybe 20 seasons.

Therefore it's not possible to tell, if there are issues with FM2006 or not. Maybe Regens don't work. Maybe the Scouts will stop to work after some time.

It's an interesting question, and we'd love to have the answer to it ourselves. It's way too early though.

FM 2006 seems to be a decent game though, and it's worth a try. :thup:

I'd reccomend 06, but can't comment on LLM issues as yet.

I'm starting season 3 right now and so far all the things I've found wrong are minor...

Anyway...I say get 2006
