I have a few friends that also play different versions of FM05 or CM. All of which boast about the array of cups won and there signings with one of the club giants.
When you ask how they got there they all say the same.
"this was the team I chose"

Its a point of view but to me its not the way to properly play the game. There is one way and thats the LLM way!

I've been out the game for a while since CM 01/02 and had the erge very recently (not that it will ever leave) to get into CM gaming. So with my new FM05 I started my first LLM for a few years.

My Quest:
Wiltshire/Somerset success

Spending a bit of time myself in and near Wiltshire I've decided to stay as much in the county though my career. Not many successful clubs come from that area disbite the amount of teams in that area. Although I'm an Arsenal fan from London. (????)

SO
Western Super-Mare. Predicted relegation but so is the rest of the division barr a few.

Won all my friendlies accept the 1st against championship side Wigan. Lost 3-0.

Played 3 games and won, drew and lost against Grays.

I've yet made no signings accept for 2 loans serveral games into the season.
No cash, no suprises there! too high a wage bill which is a concern.

The next five games I've won and Grays are rumping the league only drawing once in 8 games.

So thats the current state of play.
Played 8 Won 6 drawn 1 lost 1
2nd in the league.
Beat East Thurrock to play Hucknall in the FA cup 2nd round quailfy.

A few things to point out

1) No updates until 3 seasons have been completed or you have mod permission.

2) Apart from general spelling mistakes it's "Weston-super-Mare"; o-n, not e-r-n, small s, and all hyphenated.

I'm sure it not just me but does anyone else sometime believe there sitting in the dugout barking orders during a game. Then after the match you work out in your mind your post match press conference?
