and thanks Jason, I've regained my confidence enough to share my experience. I feel that letting you all know we can help others and it happening again in the future. I've learnt the hard way (stupid enough to let her near the pc) but let it be a lesson to us all!

We, regulars, are quite aware of the situations, where a wife or gf is near your computer with FM on. Also it is dangerous if she is standing near the electricity plug or even near the main switch. These situations must be prevented no matter what.
