My striker Ivan Alonso (Portsmoth) scored four goals (shot four times) agianst Arsenal, yet only got a 9...isn't that a little harsh??

Did he pick up a card at all?

Or perhaps he made a mistake that led to a very good opputunity / a goal?

Were all the goals clean ones or did they go in near the upright(so they were nearly missed)?Did he mean all four of them or was one of them something of a fluke?Did he celebrate them properly or did he do a 'Ronaldo against Sporting Lisbon'?

It's really stupid the way the rating system is at the moment.I liked it the way it was before.It isn't more realistic now as almost everyone gets a 7 no matter how well he plays.

I had a player rated 10 when he scored 5 goals once

1,2,3,4,10 are almost impossible to achieve, no matter what you do.

And on top of that, you'll only get a 9 if you score at least one goal (Even if you're a defender), and you'll only get a 5 if you make a mistake that leads to the opposition scoring.

Ratings system needs a massive overhaul. 6,7 and 8 are awarded about 99% of the time.

I've had players get 2's 3's 4's and 10's so far.

One of his goals went in off the upright, it was from 25 yards. Two were described as 'fantastic strikes'. He didnt make any mistakes leading to goals either.

It's quite possible that you've had some, just you won't have had many, and you certainly won't have had enough.

5 should be the average score. For every player getting a 6, 7 or 8, there should be players getting 2, 3 or 4. That just doesn't happen. Currently we might as well dispense with the pretence of a 1-10 scale and just give players a 1, 2 or 3.

you say 5 is an average score? for me 7 is averag, 8 is well played, 9 is fantastic game, 10 is the perfect game. and i mean perfect.

6 is didn't really get involved, 5 is went missing, 4 is horrendous, 3 is absolutely the last game you play in a few weeks, 2 is you're plonked in the reserves till next season and 1 is you're fired.
