The game just said Shrewsbury's manager was attending one of my games. What's that for, just show?

I've noticed this too. Maybe FM is actually smart enough, and the manager is interested in one of your players.

you also gets this with international managers, checking players for the next match

you can do it too, just choose to attend a game of a shortlisted player's team
