If I move a player to my U20 squad until match fit will he be chosen to play every game regardless of what the assistant manager wants to do?

I think so yes. I know the "make available for next five days" pretty much guarantees he will play a part, usually starting in the match. YOU are the boss anyways, doesn't really matter what the assman thinks!

Yeh but the AM is incharge of the U20s. I've picked the team before a game and a different side runs on. Just wanted to make sure that they are put on ahead of the normal U20s. You'd think they would be seeing as they're the best players available.

Go to Manager Options --> Team Settings, and tick Use Current Match Tactics for the U20's, they will then use the tactics you set for them, and I'm pretty sure they use the team you selected as well. It works for me when I specify that I want a certain youngster to play more often by selecting him (I don't select the entire thing because the assman does a decent job of handling team selections based on their ability and condition).
