Then frankly you are being unreasonable. There are more moderate and successful ways to get action than simply demanding people submit to your ideas without a well thought out argument behind it.

As for your note on languages, all languages have influenced each other to some extent, and while Macedonian may be younger and have taken influences, it does not change its official status as a language one tiny bit.

And taking out your anger with your own government on this forum is a bit... pointless... This is an issue which has valid points on all sides, and until it is officially sorted out it is obviously still an issue - which means people will have problems with it, no matter what you do.

We get the point. You're not getting ours: YOU'RE BEING UNREASONABLE. It's not a difficult thing to do, to edit it, if you can't stand seeing the name "Macedonia" in your game. But SI aren't going to change it, and I think a good lot of us are quite frankly getting a bit bemused at your constant demands.

I understand your point fully, I actually studied the situation a while back.
The problem is that while YOU think this way, and there are many Greeks who think this way, there are also many non-Greeks (i.e. the Macedonians themselves among others) who do not. Until it is officially resolved there is no 'right' way to do this which will please all people - if you had it your way, Macedonians would be on here making the same point you are but from their side, and asking for changes like you are.

And it is rather pointless going into the details of the situation because the only matter of importance here is a few words which feature in Football Manager. The details do matter in real life negotiations on this issue to determine what those words should really be - but not here.

Some parts in Bulgaria and FYROM are inside the old borders of the Macedonian state but theres never been a country called Macedonia its was only a state/kingdom. Now in the age of Nationalism the people leaving inside those borders needed an identity after the collapse of Yugoslavia, after the second WW that region was named Macedonia which was similar to Greece´s point of view calling its region macedonia so basically they just picked the name cause it was available. You have to understand that almost 30% of the population in that region is Albanian the rest are Slavs/Bulgars, Slavs and Bulgars migrated into the Balkans from 500ad so its pretty clear thats its a misuse of the name in my opinion.

They got some good football players though.
