I'm well into my first season as manager of SønderjyskE in the danish first division, but I keep loosing money each month.
I haven't bought any new players, I'm well under the wage budget - budget is 18.000£ per week and i'm at 13.000£ per week, but still i'm loosing almost 50.000£ each month, which now has my bankbalance in the red
Is this is a bug, or am i doing something seriously wrong?

Hi, This could be a number of things.
Firstly, you can still be under your wage budget and still lose money. Your budget will re-calculated at end of season to reflect your financial situation.
You may need to reduce your wage budget even further if you are losing that amount.
What are your gate recipts like? are you playing well (top of league etc) if not then your crowd will be reduced. Your club may need near full capacity to make a profit.
Unfortunatly some clubs will run in the red during the season but then its all ok when they get their TV money and money for finishing the league etc. Personally id wait until EOS and see if you are still in the red.
Also you could perhaps get a feeder club on commercial grounds to improve finances.
Failing all this you might just have to sell someone to balance the books. Some clubs IRL have to do this every season.
If your club has a loan, it could be bleeding significant money every month. I know people on this forum have complained about Newcastle United and its huge debt making a profit at the end of each month almost impossible. Unless its severe, wait until the end of the season money comes in to see where you are. If you can't wait that long, sell players.
I'm placed second, and i fill my stadium ~50% each time, giving me around 40.000£ each month in gate receipts. Gonna have to wait till the tv-money arrives I guess
@Jason84
I have no outstanding loans, luckily for me hehe
@trekman
Thanks, I will try that. Any hints on how to do it?
Here is a tip about arranging friendly matches with big clubs, these clubs would probably reject you since you are not a big enough club, but you could always offer to have friendly matches with the reserve team (man utd reserves, chelsea reserves and so on) this will get slightly less money, but if you make a friendly cup or a friendly league like this and you have a stadium capicity of about 10,000 you could make a good 400K.
While what alonwerber says about clubs like Man Utd and Chelsea is probably true some of the lesser big english clubs like Bolton, Aston Villa, Blackburn & West Ham should accept a friendly. I have also found dutch clubs like PSV einhoven,Ajax & Feyenoord will also accept one.
