I think that one method to make FM more accessible to those who haven't played before would be an option to see the CA of a player, as an overall 'Skill' rating. Obviously, this would be optional, and most users would, I'm sure, not use it, but it would help people who are used to managerial games where they can easily tell which of two players are better.

I wouldn't want to see the PA - I think that would be too odd to be able to see, but an overall rating for CA would be a good addition.

I know that there is software out there that can extract this data from a game, but that is unofficial, and I was wondering what other people thought about this as an optional extra for FM09.

If you ask your Asst for a team report. he will analyse each player and give him a star rating which will be eqivalent to a CA altho within a range.
