Hi I am currently managing Barnet and am in the 2012/2014. I have been prmoted from league 2 to league 1 where I had no transfer money to spend. I then went back down, got promoted and the same thing happened.No money to spend. I thought that this was acceptable but considering I have just been promoted to the championship and guess what? No transfer money. Now i know you can get some very good players on a free but still. Surely I would have some transfer fee over the past three years. My finances and bank balance are good and my wages is 9K under the weekly wage bill. Is there any way I can get more transfer money. Ive asked the board but they reject. Thanks

You can try asking the board to adjust budgets. This way you can switch money from the wage budget to your transfer funds.

Thanks dome that. Just been offered the newcastle job woth 9.5M to spend. Not sure what to do as I am fed up with no money but want to take barnet to champions league glory

when you say your finances and bank balance are good, exactly what does this mean?

I had this problem taking a club up the leagues as well. Well under the wage budget and making a lot of money each year, eventually after the club had about £2-3m in the bank they started to give me a transfer budget.
