Vera is the font used in FM2007, so it sounds to me you did not uninstall FM07 before installing FM08.

Run the FM07 uninstaller, then reinstall FM08, apply any patches, and see if that works.

i installed it, its never played after i installed it i tried to play it but it came up with this and styed on a white screen
