can you do this, i doubt it but it would be cool! i mean every managers have there favourite, which tend to be captain etc but there still be an option where you add them to your favourite personal in mark of respect! could end up keeping the player at your club or attracting them to it!
I'd like the option to do this, or at least be aware of some criteria to show how a player will become your favoured personel. I always feel I have an affinity with some players especially during my often long-term career game.
Do players eventually become favourite personnel after a while. I seem to rememeber a huge Bolton game years ago in which Kevin Nolan was one of my favourites.
In FM08 all of my staff have me as favoured and a few of the first team. I really like the new feature when you leave a club and staff follow you. I recently left Bayern (a mistake, I admit) and my entire backroom staff left as well.
In earlier versions of FM, I liked how you could at any time, offer an old enough player, a player/coach or player/assistant contract. The downside perhaps was that sometimes their newly generated coaching stats were rubbish.
Have not managed to do this in FM08 yet and wonder if it's something SI have dropped. I like how you can use the media to claim a player will make a good staff member in the future.
