I just signed Rochemback off Middlesbourgh for my Blackburn team (07/08 season. His work permit was rejected at first, so i appealed. The next bit was my fault: the appeal came, and i didn't read it because the next message said 'Rochemback set to sign for Blackburn' so i confirmed. The next thing i see, he hasnt got a work permit and can't play for me. Oddly, it says he is eligible for a Spanish nationality (obviously from his time at Barca), so doesn't that make him eligible for a work permit?What should i do so he can play for me?
I don't know what you could do about it but it just seems like an irregularity as he would definately not need a work permit if he is eligible for Spain.
I doubt you could fix it TBH so mabe just get FM Modifier and change his nationality, usually this would be considered cheating but it looks like the game has cheated you.
Being eligible for taking Spanish as a second nationality is not the same as having Spanish as a second nationality. Rochemback is not a citizen of the EU and so requires a work permit.
Yeah. I might have to, considering i forked out a considerable amount on him aswell. If I edit it in the Modifier, will the effects take place in my current game?

Yes, though you might need to offer him a new contract once you've given him Spanish as a second nationality.
