PHIL DEAN is infamous around these parts
Default Uninstalling FM08

bought football manager 2008 for my PC today and have run into problems installing it.

I started the installation process but it was taking ages. After waiting for it for 4 hours, it was still only 1/2 way through the process! I stopped the installation and tried the disk on another laptop which installed within 5 minutes.

I now have unwanted program files for FM 08 on my computer and the uninstall program gives me a message of :

invocation of this Java application has casued an invocation targetexception. This application will now exit (LAX).
How do i uninstall this FM 08 having already tried 'Change/Remove Programs' and running 'Uninstall Football Manager' from program files sub folders?

FrazT is on a distinguished road
Default

Install the latest Java update and then try again- you need to have this to install FM 08 as well.
