Please may someone just take a minute to help a keen gamer. After I download the 8.0.1 patch, do I run, save or do what to the file?

Please will someone give me a step - to - step on what to do.

Run it. It should then take you through the installation process.

Doesn't matter. I prefer save since you can always have a copy of the file if needed, but if you hit open, you can be assured that if you shut down your computer normally, the disk space for the file will be reclaimed.

If you do save it, I suggest you save it into a nice location, such as the desktop, so you can find it easily.

It should auto-run.
If you have to extract, then they should extract, then run, no?

It really shouldn't be as difficult as it seems you're finding it....
