My team in a lower Italian league and has just finished playing two cup games. Before the second game was played though,I reviewed the contest that were to be played on that day and the group my teams was in. The group table indicated my team had one win and draw with one goalto nil in totals. This is interesting because the team hadn't played the second game yet. Any ways, I went to the pitch to play the second game which was nil nil confirming the previous group table's information. I should note during the game I applied strong offensive tastics and out shot the opponent greatly. Their goalie was fantastic! On the basis of this observation it seems the games could be pre-determined. Has any one else seen this in their game? Thanks for reading. Thanatoast

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the game is pre-determined but changes as you make a tactical/sub change (only slightly) but if you make a big one it totally changes the outcome (slightly more so it won't end up a crazy result)

Not sure if this is true or not, I read it in these forums when an arguement grew over this.

The league table probably just included the points for the game you were about to play, Im pretty sure it did not predict your result

you looked at the live league table, so the table as it would stand if the current games being played stayed as they were.

and in my opinion, the match engine doesnt predetermine the result. (some other football management games do do this, e.g. the LMA series).
