Who has been your best buy ever who you had never heard of and never really did anything on the big stage IRL.

Mine would have to be Evandro Roncatto in CM03/04, cost about £500k but was a goal machine in every game I started. Couldn't always get a work permit but was guaranteed to be worth way over £20m if he went to a big league.

Best season was with Milan where he averaged 8.42 and scored 43 in 38 league games.

cavenaghi on fm05 always scored a bucketload of goals for me. guarin on the same game used to score 20+ every season as well

Evandro was a class act, I remember stumbling across him too. For me, Freddy Guarin was always a favourite signing - just for long shots 20!

Guarin is a good one too. On CM03/04 I always bought Evandro, Guarin, Amado Guevara, Ivan Hurtado and Tijani Babangida. They were all top notch and cost about £1.5m between them. That game was ridiculously easy though.

My current gem, which I buy every new game is Leonardo from Ajax. He costs about £700k but he is a class act even though his stats don't look like much.
