Think of building a database for one of the seasons in the 90s. Anyone have any preference for which season? I'd like to be able to do one from the early to mid ninties rather than the late 90s, but any input to help me decide would be great. And before anyone asks, yes it will be a lot of effort, but I DO want to do it!

I will be concentrating on the English leagues but may, if I have time, swap the divisions in other countries around so that they look like what they looked like in a particular season. Not sure if I'd be able to do squads and stuff for foreign leagues as well though.

Anyway, any input would be cool!

And does anyone have any solutions to the 22 teams in the Premiership issue? Will I just have to choose two teams to have in Div 1 instead?

Can someone tell me what's the point? What's so special about the 90s? Football haven't changed much...

Unless it's the fact that you would know which players are about to become great in the next 10 years...

Nostalgia more than anything.You're mad if you don't think football has changed since the mid to late ninties. I like to see the differences in the divisions - having Cambridge in the old second division, QPR, Oldham, Swindon and Notts Forest in the Prem when it first started, having teams like Aldershot and Maidstone Utd in the football league. The ninties is the only football decade I have lived through too, so i remember some of the players of the time.

Thanks, 1997/98 season idea taken on board! I liked this one too. Also like the idea of 1991/92 and 1994/95. Any other suggestions?

OK, taking all suggestions on board. Thing I like about doing a ninties season, is that if people have suggestions for other seasons, it's not that difficult to do a couple, as teams don't change that much from year to year.
