I know this is mentioned elsewhere, but I thought a topic of it's own might get this annoyance more attention.

I have tried making a future regen file, but norwegian letters isn't displayed properly:

"FUTURE_REGEN" "Øystein" "" "Kåsa" "01-01-2002" "Norway" ""

I tried using Ø for Ø -> didn't work.

Surely there must be a workaround, just haven't figured it out yet. Anyone got any ideas?

I find it a bit strange since in another edt file, this line:

"STADIUM_MOVE" "Løv-Ham" "Krohnsminde Idrettsplass" "Løveparken" "01/04/2008"

works in game. So it seems it regognises that team, even though there are the same letters (ø) there.

Why not just copy and paste the character from the other .EDT and put it in your own one?

that was also problem with me... but answer is that you must open the file in notepad and "Save as..." and there you see on the bottom that coding is ANSi. you have to chance it to the Unicode. that way those letters started to work on my game

Anyway, the nerazzurri EDT-generator has been updated to support unicode, so this problem should be out of the way.
