Default Deleting .pkm's - still possible?

Just a quick question. Is it still possible to reduce the size of the save game? by deleting .pkm's?

I opened up the 'Temp' file with the %Temp% command and my saved game was open - I couldn't see an FM07 folder.

Can we still delete .pkm's?

There seems to be a new system in use this time around. I may be wrong but pkm's do seem to exist but only for a matter of seconds, then they appear to be integrated into another file.

I did try deleting all contents on the temp folder with the game running and then saving. The new save file was 2/3rds of the size. It did load and work but minus too much history for my liking.

I'm in the same boat as you. My save game file is now up to 324mb's, still keeping my fingers crossed that some kind soul designs a save game cleaner.

the temp path seems to have been moved to

C"Local User path"\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\Temporary

but there are no *.pkm anymore, beside the actual played ones (at least thats what i guess)

but there are a couple of *.msa files called pks***.msa. they are quite large, so i guess there are all the pkm files stored in it.
any other thoughts?
