I have had just about enough of the huge home advantage. I am not just basing it on my results but even looking at AI results you can see the home advantage is to great. Like Arsenal at home beats man Utd 7-1 then next match Liverpool at home beats Arsenal 5-0.

Anyway as for me all the tactics I have tried struggle away from home and I need a tactic where I can actually win matches away from home. Can anyone help?

a word of advice is look at the odds for the match and the team you're playing, you really shouldn't go with the same tactic to an away match because the other team might be stronger than you, ex, you're tottenham and you're heavily favored to beat watford(sorry) at home so you go with an attacking tactic to quickly put the game away, that will probably work but you can't take the same approach to an away game at Chelsea or Arsenal or Man Utd where they're the favorites and will look to put you away also. hope this helps.

I am not a noob so I know about looking at odds and also about not playing the same tactic but whatever tactic I play I always struggle when away. I probably should read cleon's thread because I need to learn more about tweaking but I dont really have the time for it.

alternatively you could set up one or two away tactics, as wwfan suggests in the rule-of-one threads. it's been working quite well for me. i have all my tactics built as presets and just switch between them based on things like home vs away, match odds, weather, and what's happening in the game...

I actually have been using wwfan's tactic and his away ones have not worked for me but the home ones have worked nicely. But I have tried many different tactics including some from the site and some of my own. I have no problem at home, I win every match but when playing away I struggle and lose to teams I am much better then.

That could be because you are pushing to much in away games. I found that i used an attacking mentality in home games but even if i used this in away games that i was favs then it flopped.
Maybe try dropping your menality for the first 20 mins then review it.

It's a bit sideways this, but I'll post it anyway.

The thing that gets me about home advantage is the way that it still applies in finals.

If I am listed first in a final, I can play more attacking than if I'm the second team because (in my view) the AI (**cough**) thinks I'm the home team.

I have notice this throughout the history of CM/FM-or is it just me?
