One day i turned water to wine.
On another day i fed thousands of people with a halibut and some cheese topped rolls.
Better still i did this ace water walking trick...
BUT I IN NO WAY CAN SAVE ROTHERHAM FROM LEAGUE ONE RELEGATION, TOTAL SOUL COLLAPSE, FINANCIAL RUIN, OR ANYTHING.
So yes, it seems no matter what i try, Rotherham are relegated. Okay, we start with -10 points, already a terrible handicap to begin with - but even if we didnt we would languish in bottom place by around 12 points come last day.
Its okay people uploading tactics to boast that they won the Sinn Fein Supercup or whatever with Barca-moneybags-lona, or some other rich and great teams, but come on, i am Rotherham - all i wanna do is survive.
Does anyone know any tactical styles that might suit League One? Any tips, ways to play, and so forth for me? When i say i am crap, i have never told the truth more!!! i am really getting tired of each and every game heading the same way. i am not one to cheat, so as we are so broke i am pretty much stuck with what we have player-wise.
Can anyone experienced have a look and suggest tips to me?
I am sure all 17 of the Rotherham fans would be grateful!
i started a new rotheram and went on holiday til my watford friendly, the team lost1-0 to accrington on hols and i lost 2-1 to watford, want the tactic? its not great but 2-1 against watford is good
To be honest, thanks, but no!
Oddly, friendly mathces i can perform in, its when the season kicks off i am well screwed.
I can beat Derby, Crystal Palace, Leicester - but only when playing in friendly competition. I sit there and think "wow, i have this shizznizz settled now" then the season begins and wallop, its 8-0 at Orient's place (that actually happened!).
Thanks though mate.
I am just very stuck.
Starting at minus ten points means i cant take 14 games to get my season going and gain momentum, aside from Chesterfield and me, other teams seem to battle quite well against relegation.
I also noticed that Crawley, and Scarborough seem to have often little trouble overturning their -10 deficit.
So again, anyone got any useful lower league tips?
Think maybe its time i spent the first season renewing contracts and going into League Two as strong as possible! But thats not what i want.
i asked a friend some tactical advice (this guy has won the World Cup with Finland...) and he simply said "yes, change team...."
Finn's are great arent they...
We have no money! Its insane!
I am going to really give it another crack though, i will beat this - its just finding a way how.
What stats to target men generally need, and what is the best way to use them? Play long ball toward them, make them hold up the ball? I dont know! I have literally never tried using one!
Parent club is a decent idea, we nearly had Liverpool one time! The best i seem abot to get though is Sheffield United!
Ian fella, im certainly going to try!!
Trouble is that it depends on the board and who they decide, Sheffield United players generally play okay for me though, but aside from being offered Liverpool one time, i get nothing. Sometimes Wigan, but often Championship teams.
Its also quite a valuable bit of income even if it is only 36k a year...
I tried out a llm-game with darlington. used a 4-4-2 but moved the wingers one step higher in the pitch with short farrows so its more like a 4-2-2-2 with one of the mc's a little more offense-minded, kind of like man uniteds style of play. the defensive line deep, fairly wide, direct passing, high tempo. worked wonders. end of first season i'm in the top 4. no new signings. hope this helps a little if you're struggling.
