I'm currently playing FM07 with up to date patch. I love this game (probably too much) but recently i've started to suffer a dip in form. My tactics work consistently when i play the game on my own, but as soon as i go to online play i suffer from massive inconsistency.

Is there anything that a player might have done in previous versions that they do in FM07 that doesnt work? I dont suck at this game, honest, but i just dont understand why my tactics have become so unreliable.

Has anyone noticed this difference in tactics working differently with single player and online games?

Is there anything obvious i am missing out on.

Yes i am desperate, i'm losing ground to enemies in the office.

Sounds like you need to look at your opponents tactics and work out a way to counter them, rather than relying on your own tactic that only works against the AI.

Well beating the human opponents is fine, thats not the thing. Its just against the AI in the multiplayer game.

The way i play in single player is fine, i mean i've got York City promoted in 2 seasons in a row, and my tactics etc seem fine

But as soon as i get into online play, the tactics become inconsistent and i cant find a good routine.
