Tactical Do's And Don'ts

I read something like this before but can't find it! (even searched and couldn't find it!)

right so basically if you have a tip that you always do even if its low creative freedom on defenders, just write it

mine would be cross to far post (great find crazy!)

Care to explain your do's and dont's? because it could be due to the rest of your tactics as to why it works

Do - always keep a deep defensive line, so long as you dont play couter attack, since it doesnt leave a massive gap between the defence and midfield, yet keeps the oppo's forwards outside of the area, making them take more long shots than short. (always works well for me)

Dont - make a radical tactical change half way through a match. in my experience, it ALWAYS results in my team playing worse.

i'm sorta out of some lol i will be posting a lot of other peoples ideas that i find, not to hog the glory but to help people like myself before i understood tactics,

just remembered one, with your wingers, make them tackle easy and high closing down (it will keep them tight to opposing wingers without commiting them to a tackle, so they won't get past as much

how could i forget cross to near post from corners and have your best headerer to "near post flick on" and the 2nd best to "challenge keeper" extra 10 goals a season and about 5 assists

if u have a striker with loads of pace and acceleration eg oba martins. then i use target man with 'run onto ball' setting and forward runs, run with ball and attacking sliders right the way up. works wonders

well if you go to player instructions for martins and its the first slider, mentality i think it is. just drag tha slider up to attacking (as far as it will go) and then run with ball and forward runs exactly the same.
