Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default re-ranking confusion

Say I start off at Manchester United, and by January are coming 1st, surely i shouldn't have to change anything as sides view me the same way?

Also, should I change my entire formation when the re-ranking occurs or my mentality or what?

In depth explanations as I'm rather slow would be helpful lol

Do a search and read the threads about re-ranking if you want an in depth answer. Re ranking takes place because the AI managers will adapt their tactics when playing you in the second half of the season because they have seen how you played in the first half. There is no need for massive changes but, for example, a team that was prepared to have a go to win in the first game, will be more likely to defend in depth the second time. Consequently you may nedd to modify your approach to be as successful. All teams will prpbably have to modify their approach but by differing amounts depending on how they have been playing.

However, re-ranking does not affect your team as much as some try to make out. There are a whole load of other factors involved, especially if you're Man Utd or Chelsea since these teams can really only be re-ranked "downwards", can't they?

Don't read the threads on here about re ranking, it doesn't effect game play in a big way like people claim. And because you are one of the better teams then it doesn't effect you 1 bit.
