Is it me or no matter how much possession or chances your so called great team have the crap opposition manage to score with one chance??

I'm playing with Liverpool and Michael Owen, David Villa need 100's of chances to actually get the ball on target but up pops super Danny Webber/average to poor striker and scores like he is some sort of footballing god!

Next you will say it my tactics which is probably is true but if I was some sort of tactical genius I wouldn't be playing a computer game.

Therefore I've decided this game is crap or I am one.....maybe one of the two.

I had this problem till I organised my attack. Try one big strong targetman on the left and a smaller quicker, more skillful striker on the right. The best partners I have found for this in the game would be John Carew and Fred. But if you have Michael Owen and David Villa, I reccommend rotating the two strikers and getting a stronger striker, who is a good header of the ball. Try John Carew like I said or go look around.

I actually regret buying Owen. I play 4-1-2-2-1

Which is a flat back four, 1 defensive mid, two centre mids, 2 attacking mid wingers and a lone striker. Owen had good pace strength and was decent in the air but he is garbage with this tactics. Villa is great with to be honest. I find my team can play amazing for 3 games where I win 3 4 nil and then a few games where it seems that the players are still in the dressing room.

Is it worth playing my two centre mids attacking and have a target man with the ball over the top?

Defensively I seem to be sound it is only the last few games when I started letting them in hence my previous rant.

What team are you?

I wouldn't recommend 4-1-2-2-1 unless you had a very weak attack (which with Villa and Owen I don't think you do) and a weak defence.

I am Liverpool.

My team are crap I've changed to 4 4 2 and they cant score or defend now either utter b*llocks this game like.

Here we are you'll need a DM playmaker like Alonso. If offers come along for you big players sell, but push the sale price to the max. You can replace all, including gerrard. Allow 5 to 6 games before judging.When things go wrong don't give up
