It's just like Zidane heatbutting in the WC Final. After that, it took 2 patches, before then anytime either team went behind, there was a good chance one or more of the team would start kicking, punching, headbutting.
Before that it was the Liverpool and Milan match and ridiculous comebacks, and it's effects are still in the game today!

Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle and Arsenal have all had their seasons affected by injury. Chelsea had only
two fit defenders when they played Liverpool this year - and they lost. United had 8 players out at one point, Newcastle had 12 out for over 6 months, Arsenal have lost the only two players on their team that can score, plus lengthy lay offs for Hleb, Rosicky, Ljungberb, Gallas... need I go on?
And last season they had to play Flamini at left back because they'd lost Ashley Cole... and Gael Clichy... and Justin Hoyte... and Karera Gilbert...
5th choice left back. Crazy.
Now, if four teams have suffered this season that I can think of off the top of my head, I think the injury thing is actually reasonably sensible on FM. You also don't seem to take into account the fact that perhaps
you have done something wrong (unrealistic, if we are to use the term) to get this situation in the first place.
I've had only one injury crisis in my time playing the game - I had fifteen players out in Serie C2. Gave me the chance to try out some new blood, and thankfully I came through it. However, I didn't expect to win the league that season, even though I had the best team. Sometimes **** happens and you just have to bear with it.
Rediculous comebacks, on the other hand, only happen to those that don't or can't adapt. Usually the former.
