It isn't cheating but it's very unrealistic and it happens every now and then in football but IMO it happens a few too many times in FM

To be fair this type of thing does happen alot of the time. Now im not saying that it doesn't happen in real life, all im saying is that it happens far too much in FM compared to real world football! You have to really study tactics and be able to change things alot even during matches to have a chance of winning in this game, and that just isn't what im interested in doing, and by the looks of things alot of other people agree. Im glad that this game caters to the hard core FM gamer who has the time and patients to study tactics and take a great interest in it, but only wish that it wasn't so hard for people like myself, who really just want to sit down with FM, sort a tactic that works, then sign players and have fun.

Well said! Theese things happen IRL and should be in the game, but toning them down a bit would not be a bad thing. Not scoring a single goal when you play 11-9 and have almost 60% posession and 16 shots on goal is almost unrealistic (nothing is unrealistic since irl anything can happen).

hmm you have 40% cross completion?! that's WAY high! are you shure your strikers have got heading over 2? Usually I have like 20% and score on crosses every other game.

do that cross to far post thing, you're completion gets like above 50% all the time! shame i play with two midgets oot top! martins and rossi (owen when fit!)

thanks for your discussions,as most of you say maybe this is not an AI cheat but very very unrealistic.

you have the best squad and you use a very good tactic but you lose with like those matches of ****.i have disqualified for many times like that.in both legs of matches,the Gk of my oppenent plays with a rating of 9 and my gk 6 altghough my gk is the best gk for FmGenie and my oppenents Gk is a decent one.my teams morale is full happy.That makes game really unplayable.

For those who ask the tactic i use, i use the tactic BobyBamber's 4-4-2 crash the net.it has a topic there.

i really really dont have the time to be tweaking for every game nor do i want to tweak all the time!

do you have a saved-game file from IMMEDIATELY BEFORE you played the game?

it would be VERY interesting to run it with exactly the same setup, say, a hundred times or so.
