I have my best header flick at the near post.
I stick 1 striker on the far post,
The other DC attcking the far post.
One striker challenge the keeper.
My keeper on default,
2 fullback stay back.
Eveyone else lurks outside the area.
I did some experiments awhile ago, I found having more than 2 people set to any one instruction will "default" them all and ruin the tactic.
I use this... it combines the "near post header" and the old fm06 (05?) style "free shot from a lurker around the edge of the are".
GK - Default
DR - Back
DL - Back
DC - Keeper
DC - St Far (This guy is the Corner Taker)
MR - Keeper
ML - At Far
MC - (Best Long Shooter) - Lurk (Lurk Outside Area)
MC - St Far
FC - At Far
FC (Best Header) - Flick (Near Post Flick On)
Obviously, make Lurker the guy with the best long shots and composure (anyone with Shoots with Power PPM is excellent), and the Flick on the best Jumper and Header.
Set the corner taking in team instructions to "Near Post" for both. Obviously the best corner taker as well should take them.
This tactic will mean the corner goes to the near post most of the time, but every so often it will go to the lurker. You can score off both types of corner kick.
davidbowie great post.Everybody is talking about team and player instructions but a few people talk about penalty,corner,throw-in.For example I am losing almost always at 90+penalties because how should I chose penalty takers(I know about the penalty skill, but something else)
