if you win the league you dont get the sack, but if you dont win the league you do get the sack until the chairman is ok with you.

Telling the board your going to gain promotion and then winning the league has to be better than telling them your gonna win the league and then only get promoted isnt it?

Plus with the added pressure of balancing your finances getting the extra money to win the league and then not coming through on the deal is the best possible way of putting your club into financial worries whilst ensuring your next pay check comes in the shape of a giro
