Looking for a good back up for Quaresma for 2nd Season... I'm playing as Liverpool and I don't want to spend more than 20 mil for said player... although I got plans to sell Pennant whenever a suitable buyer comes in.
Belluschi depending on where he's gone. Valon Behrami will be available less than 20M as well. Tbh, you give Behrami a good run in the side and you'll be making Quaresma a backup to Behrami soon enough! You can also get guys like Rafinha or Ratinho who are RB's but have stats more suited for AMR's/MR's!
Why do you need one though? You can always stick Gerrard there and push Lucas or Alonso to CM if Quaresma gets injured or something. Not to mention Ryan Babel.
Yeah but Babel's excelled this season and has matured into a cultured winger but he's been destructive in the left side but it's more of a partner for Menez for the right so I can interchange their positions which has helped me take down big teams.
That and Pennant's meh and Benayoun is more of a back up player just in case someone gets hurt.
Hold on. You have Babel, Quaresma AND Menez. All 3 of them can play on either wing. So why do you need anyone else?? You'd have to be unlucky to have 2 of them out at the same time. And even if that did happen, you can easily play Gerrard like I suggested and move the fit winger on the left. Now, depending on who you've sold, you should have Riise, Aurelio, Kewell who can all play on the left side as well. I'm sure you shouldnt be needing another winger mate. But if you're still not convinced then get the ones I mentioned above.
Btw, can anyone tell what "MEH" stands for??? Cheers!
Ok I should at least tell what formation I use... it's 4132 with the analogy 5 in defense and 5 in attack sort of like an Inter Milan sort of play and it works out well.
I'll have a look at Ratinho though I never used him last year and i'll see if I can get him cheaply.

By saying Meh I think he means he's alright but not good enough I think.
