taking on the challenge of Dusseldorf in the Regional Leagues of Germany, i found myself riddled with debt, a overpaid squad, and a Chairman with pockets as deep as a mouses' ****
anyway, the team was doing OK on the field, off the field i faced the challenge of having to re-assess everything and missing out on promotion, would mean a summer rebuild (something i looked forward too)
then come christmas, and Sint Nick' came early in Dusseldorf, as a new chairman took over the club, wiped out my debt, gave me a whopping 5million quid to spend, and pretty much ensured the future of my squad (albeit improved with my scouts now working overtime for signings)
so, yes its exciting to be the moneybags of the league - but at the same time, this 'out of my hands' move, has tarred the game in a way, as rather than looking to scrape around in the summer - i will have the rich pickings
still, i continue to leak near on 500k per month, so maybe the chairman will get fed up and leave me to rot in a years time
I was just a bit surprised it took 10hrs, 10mins for a reply to be made to the initial post. And I expected your (courteous) response would be the catalyst for some (not so courteous) responses.
only Dusseldorfs stadium really stands out tbh -and the German LL are pretty tough to get through (2up 5down) - plus as mentioned, due to stadium size and lack of support, im leaking 500k p/m
this is a game for me to earn my wings in LLM - get to grips with training / scouting etc - as its my first champ since 01/02
Except the one that says you have to complete three seasons. Unless you're just adding them very slowly, of course...
Also - you're more than welcome to find your bearings with Dusseldorf but I'm guessing a mod will appear shortly and agree with TADW - any LLM club that gets £5m in it's first season is probably considered a Rushden or a Weymouth - i.e. too good to play with. By all means play your game but I'm guessing the chaps here won't want to hear about it...

It's not an update.
Plus, i doubt the money injection is hard-coded. Only problem is the reputation of the club, but he didn't know that before asking here first.
