I'll be the dissenting voice here. Don't playoffs, while silly, make it harder to get promoted? Here me out.

In previous years, the top 2 teams were promoted, no questions asked.

Now, 1 team is promoted. There's a chance (roughly 75%) that a 2nd team will be promoted, but there's also a small chance (25%) that the 9th place team will retain their spot in the division. So... won't this actually make it harder to achieve promotion?

I wasn't arguing the odds of getting promoted, I was disputing the fact that playoffs would give you longer to stay in a division. Previously, at the end of the regular season 4 teams would move out of a division. If you finished 3rd or 4th, you stayed put.

Now up to 6 teams end the season with a chance of changing division.

Now you are taking the p*ss, Read the header of the forum. It states that player naming is not allowed, you ignore that rule and then f*ckin' well quote yourself.

Gretna are not considered a challenge here because thay have too much money.
