Seems pretty realistic to me if it is Holland V's The Dutch

I've just been involved in two penalty shootouts in the Steel & Sons Cup (NI) and in both cases the opponants failed to put the ball in the net.

So there's a bug in FM06 where you always win penalty shootouts 1-0?

Yeah, I think that a lot of the player attributes, in 05 anyway, for penalty taking was far too low. You see players in far lower divisions who will convert a penalty 8/10 times.

In my experience they're usually doing ok during a game. It's just in a shootout that they all the sudden forget where the goal is.

I've noticed that too, must be the pressure. You need to give a 'pre-shootout talk'. Something along the lines of "you miss this and you won't walk again"

I'd imagine that would only add to the pressure

In Fm05 I had one shoot-out like this. I think only one of 14 penalties from both sides was converted.
