Being over this side of the pond I never even heard of this team but it sounds like they need to be removed from the DB, so where do you do this on the initial setup screen? I haven’t seen any tick box but then again as I didn’t know who they were I obviously didn’t pay it too much attention.
on Sky One there is a Soap/Drama series based around a fictional football team called Harchester United. For some insane reason they decided to include this team and their players in FM2006. When you 1st start a game you will see Load Harchester United and the box will be ticked, leave the box ticked or they will be in your game.
I think we should hunt down the person at SI Games who said "I know, lets include Harchester" then urinate on his living room carpet
He should be tarred and feathered, and shown on display at the centre of a shopping mall or something. People can throw whatever they want at him, though preferably soft non-killing objects. Sabres etc should be out of the question
I found this over on GQ, according to Marc it _should_ not ruin your save.

Yes they can - but as the game uses them as 'default' they're inactive unless a human arranges a friendly with them or similar.
(by default their players are treated as 'grey' players by the game and never bought sold or similar)
