Ask them to show up to training more often. They'll have to quit their day jobs and go full time.

Alternatively there's a difference between full-time and part-time contract offers that might have something to do with it.

The reason players won't join you is due to reputation, rather than part-time-ness.

We don't do tipping in this forum, so if require any more in depth answers than that, you'd probably be better off in GQ.

You have to keep at it until, one season, the status just changes (or at least it did in 05 - it may have a media message in 06).

Be aware that it's a double-edged sword, though. Not only will expectations soar, but you'll have to start paying taxes too.

That's professional status, Wizzle, not part-time status. AFAIK even non-pro clubs still are able to offer full-time contracts (unless that's been restricted in 06).

I have offered some of my players full time contracts and they have accepted. I would love to know what these boys are doing here full time because all my coaches are part time and I’m not there to see them because I’m a part-timer myself!! I recon they spend all the time they should be training in the Camrose social club drinking and playing pool. I can’t see any improvement on the pitch from my full time superstars.
