I don't think the SI figures are unrealistic at all.
Wow. That is expensive. For how long did they put the advert?

I would have thought using the job centre was the only approved LLM way - using Search would be abit unrealistic IRL wouldn't it?

I only ever use the job centre - and so I have a backroom staff of 2 :p

The staff search wasn't frowned upon in FM2005 as the Job Centre was tosh!

Certain restrictions applied like only looking for out of work staff and suitably poor stats.

That sounds about right. Costs about £250 to put a job on a website like fish4 for a fortnight.

I never found the jobcentre pants. Sure some foreigners would apply for jobs (would happen IRL as well I guess) but checked more closely most of those foreingers speak the language of your country or even have it as second nationality so to me the most realistic thing to do.

Never used anything besides the jobcentre for my current FM05 save

I'm playing with Elgin in Scotland, and the job centre is completely worthless. I get hits, but I haven't seen a single Scot or Brit apply for a job. Only Germans, Danes, and Greeks are interested in the Scottish Highlands, apparently. And the funny thing is, practically none even speak English. How did they even read my advertisement?

Consider how wonderfully realistic the job centre is for me (sarcasm), I've resorted to using Staff Search. At least I can get some local Scots that way. Every off-season, I keep using the job centre in the hopes that it will stop sucking.
